Submissions for VAEFF 2020 are now closed.
Thank you to all of the artists and filmmakers who submitted from around the world!
Notification date will be on September 17.
Running for its 10th year, the Video Art & Experimental Film Festival (VAEFF) showcases to New York City audiences every fall some of the most innovative, provocative, and exciting works of film and video from around the world. The festival embraces a boundary-pushing spectrum of work that includes animation, music video, fashion film, documentary, visual narrative, and more.
VAEFF 2020 is scheduled to run from November 12-14 across several venues in NYC, including the Tribeca Film Center.
Note on COVID-19: While it’s hard to predict what public health guidelines will look like in the coming months, VAEFF is committed to continuing to showcase independent video artists and filmmakers in whatever way we can, and is aiming to screen as originally planned in November. We will be working on the 2020 program as per our regular timeline and we will provide updates about event details and any changes as we progress. Possible changes include dates and venues.
