Video art, digital art and photography have always been deeply intertwined. The still image is one frame in a myriad of frames that ultimately makes up a moving scene, but every one of those images can serve as digital art in its own right. In this year’s special program ‘V-Art meets D-Art & Photography’ VAEFF will be showcasing selected photography and still images captured from film and video art. VAEFF will celebrate the relationship between these artistic mediums and wonder what it means for digital art moving forward.
