Director: Duane Michals

Synopsis: The body moving through time becomes electric.

Bio: Duane Michals (b. 1932, McKeesport, PA) has written and directed over forty short films. His photography has been shown at MoMA, The Metropolitan Museum of Art, The Brooklyn Museum, The International Center of Photography, and The Carnegie Museum of Art. Michals was made an Officier in France’s Ordre des Arts et des Lettres in 1993, and he was honored with the International Center of Photography Infinity Award for Art, in 1989, and the Foto España International Award in 2001. He lives and works in New York City.
