Synopsis: Broken Melody is the first single from the Italian composer and musician Caterina Barbieri’s new album Spirit Exit, which will be out on 8th ofJuly through her recently launched label, light-years. The music video, a result of the artistic collaboration with Ruben Spini, is directed by Iacopo Carapelli and co-produced by C41 and Blackball. Like a direct portal to another dimension, it takes us on a visual journey into her sound world.

Bio: Born in Milan in 1990, Iacopo has always had a huge interest in filmmaking since his early years. Iacopo had the chance to live the magic of set and, along the way, he gained directing experience by shooting commercials and music videos. Iacopo has a unique way of bringing together sensitivity and rough aesthetics in the attempt to create an original and daring visual language surrounding digital art for a progressive vision.
